I'm Elissa Kelly, a PCC certified business coach and former Fortune 100 executive. I left corporate and built a multi six-figure coaching business in my first two years by applying the same risk framework I used in corporate to every decision I made as an entrepreneur.
That framework is the foundation of everything I teach. Whether you're just starting to think about the transition or you're already coaching and ready to grow, there's a clear next step for where you are right now.

I've distilled two decades of Fortune 100 executive experience into 7 strategic keys that eliminate the guesswork and reduce your risk when transitioning from corporate to coach - the exact framework I used to generate six figures in my first year as a coach entrepreneur.

You've spent years building expertise in corporate. The skills that made you successful there, strategic thinking, leadership, managing complexity, are exactly what your coaching clients need. The part most coaches miss is how to build the business around those skills.
That's where I come in.
I built my first coaching business by treating the transition the same way I treated every major decision in my corporate career: as a risk management exercise. I mapped the professional, financial, psychological, and practical risks before I made the leap. That framework worked. I hit six figures in year one and doubled revenue in year two and three.
Everything I offer is built on that same foundation. Whether you're still in corporate and planning your exit, newly launched and building your client base, or an established coach ready to scale, there's a program designed for exactly where you are.

The Corporate to Coach® course bridges the gap between corporate leadership and coaching entrepreneurship, covering essential topics needed to become a successful executive coach solopreneur.

I'm Elissa Kelly, a PCC certified business coach. I've built three companies: a private executive coaching practice, the coaching firm Surya Partners, and Corporate to Coach®, the six-week cohort program for organizational leaders launching their coaching businesses.
Before that, I spent two decades in Fortune 100 risk management, finishing as Chief Product Officer of a multi-billion dollar insurance company. I left and applied the same risk framework to my own businesses. Six figures in year one, double revenue in year two and year three.
What ties the three together is the same approach I now teach. Risk-smart strategy, repeatable systems, and decisions made on numbers, not nerves.
An executive coach solopreneur is a one-person business that provides executive-level coaching to corporate leaders, individual professionals, and organizations buying coaching for their teams. The work is senior, high-touch, and priced accordingly. The business model has to be built to support that, which is a different skill set than coaching itself.
Plan on 24 months to reach a profitable rhythm. The first six months usually cover credentials, positioning, and a small first portfolio of clients. The next stretch is about repeatable lead generation, and the coaches who treat it as a real business, not a side practice, tend to get there faster.
Executive coaching is the service you deliver. Executive coach solopreneur is the business you run while delivering it. One is about the client engagement; the other is about pricing, packaging, marketing, sales, contracts, and the unglamorous decisions that determine whether the business pays you well or quietly drains you.
